Meet Amanda May

A spinal fracture from a horseback accident when I was 12-years-old combined with scoliosis left me in a lot of pain at an early age. My passion for understanding myself and others led me to complete my Masters in Psychology at the University of Southern California. In 1994, I began practicing yoga and meditation, and it changed my life. It helped me to alleviate my own pain and begin to understand the mind-body connection. There is an intimate and inextricable connection between what we think--emotionally, intellectually and spiritually--and how it is reflected in our bodies.

Good health is about the whole person--body, mind and spirit. It is more than a number on a scale or a blood pressure reading. I have years of experience mentoring others, and I’m a Certified Integrative Health Coach trained at Duke Integrative Medicine. As adjuncts to this, I teach meditation and mindfulness. I'm an energy healer of multiple forms and trained shamanic healer in the Peruvian tradition and a Reiki master. I'm passionate about sharing the knowledge and gifts that have changed my life with others. I believe everyone can create a life of health, joy and vitality.

I’ve been married for over 25 years and raised a family. I’ve lived and worked all over the world. I bring my practice into everything I do to help maintain my own balance, wellness and peace.

There is nothing more beautiful and miraculous than YOU.
